Monthly Rentals in Da Nang: Prices, Deposits and What to Agree On (2026)

If you're planning a month or more in Da Nang, the most expensive mistake is booking nightly and extending night by night. A monthly rate is almost always far below 30 nights added up — the host skips daily cleaning, platform fees and the risk of empty nights between guests.

Here's how monthly pricing works, what deposits look like, and what to agree on before you arrive.

Why monthly is cheaper

Every short stay costs the host something: cleaning, laundry, booking-platform commission, and gaps in occupancy. A guest who stays the whole month removes most of that, and the savings come back to you as a lower price.

So ask directly: "What's your monthly rate?" Don't take the nightly price and multiply it.

Typical monthly prices

TypeTypical monthly range
Studio6–9M VND
1-bedroom apartment10–15M VND
2-bedroom apartment14–22M VND
Whole villadepends on size and location

These are market reference ranges. Actual prices vary by area, season and length of stay — the longer you stay, the more room there is to negotiate.

Deposits and payment

  • Deposit is usually one month's rent, paid before check-in.
  • Rent is normally paid at the start of each period; some places accept several months at once.
  • Electricity and water are either metered separately or included. Always ask the electricity rate per kWh — it's where costs differ most.

Get a receipt for every payment, including bank transfers.

Agree on these before moving in

  1. Exact check-in and check-out dates.
  2. What the price includes: Wi-Fi, cleaning, linen change, service fees.
  3. Deposit return conditions and timing.
  4. What happens if you leave early or want to stay longer.
  5. Who pays for repairs when something breaks.
