What a Da Nang studio is usually like
Typically 25–35m²: one open space with sleeping area, living area and kitchen, plus a private bathroom. Unlike a basic rented room, it has its own kitchen and en-suite; unlike a one-bedroom, there's no wall separating the bed.
Most studios for rent in Da Nang come furnished: bed, wardrobe, air conditioning, water heater, stove, fridge, washing machine. You just bring your suitcase.
Who it suits
People living alone who don't need a separate room for guests.
Stays of 1–6 months — long enough for monthly rates to pay off, without needing a bigger place.
Moderate budgets — the difference from a one-bedroom adds up to a meaningful sum over a year.
Less suited to: people who work from home all day and often have evening video calls — there's no door to close when you need quiet, or when your partner goes to bed early.
What to check
Is there a real desk? Many studios only have a small dining table. If you sit there eight hours a day, this is the deciding detail.
Can you actually cook? Some places say "kitchen" but ban frying because the smell fills the open space.
Orientation. A small west-facing studio heats up much faster than a big apartment. On hot-season afternoons, even with the AC running constantly, it's hard to keep cool.
Somewhere to dry clothes. A small space with no balcony is a real hassle in the rainy season.
How electricity is charged. EVN rate or a fixed rate, separate meter or not — details in electricity and water bills when renting.
Monthly and nightly rates
